Managed by Hopkins Center for the Arts, The Depot Coffee House offers coffee, refreshments, and light snacks for purchase. The Depot is a popular and convenient Three Rivers Park District regional trail stop, featuring art exhibitions and music.
Open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 7:30am-3pm, with extended hours on Thursdays until 8pm. Card/electronic payment only.
Rental Opportunities
The Depot is available for rent - consider holding your next special event, meeting, party, reception, or concert with us! All ages are welcome.
Bay Room - $25/hour
- Casual space with lounge seating, small tables and chairs and bay window bench.
- Includes a wall featuring Hopkins Center for the Arts' Member Artists' work that changes on a quarterly basis.
- Great for small gatherings.
Freight Room - $75/hour
- Stage area
- Open space with flexible seating options: Theater style, tables and chairs, etc.
- Accessible to outdoor seating area
- Sound booth with Audio/Visual capabilities

The Depot is a trailhead for Three Rivers Park District regional trails, and offers parking, portable restrooms, and drinking water.

SPECIAL EVENTS
In partnership with the Hopkins Center for the Arts, The Depot will feature Member Artists Spotlight exhibitions in the Bay Room.
Friends of Hopkins Center for the Arts Members' Musician Spotlight & Music Night: 6 - 8 pm, the second Thursday of each month from September - May.
The Friends of Hopkins Center for the Arts Members' Musician Spotlight & Music Night will feature musician, Mother Banjo, on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
- 21+ age event
- Music, spoken word, comedy
- Members must pre-register to perform at: Members Open Mic Night.
- 6 - 7 pm: Each performer will have a 15-minute slot, maximum of 1 spot per performer/group.
- 7:15 - 8 pm: Local musician will finish the evening out!
Cash bar, Coffee and concessions available for purchase
- $5 cover at the door. Open mic performers - free admission.
All Ages Open Mic Night: 6 - 8 pm, the fourth Thursday of each month September through May.

- Each performer will have a 10-minute slot, maximum of 1 spot per performer/group.

YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD
The Depot Youth Advisory Board is a group of up to 15 students from the Hopkins or Minnetonka school districts in 9th through12th grades. This membership group has multiple leadership duties pertaining to youth activities at the Depot. This includes: attending monthly board meetings, public speaking, attending leadership retreats, creating new programs, etc.
Events sponsored by Youth Advisory Board provide a chemical-free safe zone designed by youth for youth. Local high school students volunteer on the Youth Advisory Board for the duration of their high school careers and help to shape youth programs offered at the Depot and promote our mission-driven work.
