The nonprofit partner that supports arts programming at the Center
Because of the support received from members, donors, and business sponsors Hopkins Center for the Arts is able to provide affordable concerts throughout the year featuring national and international performers, free and accessible art exhibitions, and opportunities for emerging artists. Contributions also support programs beyond the walls of the Center like ArtStreet the public art program in Hopkins, the Sunset Series – free summer concerts in Downtown Park, and collaborative art events like WOAH! – Walk of Art Hopkins.
The Friends’ Board is a volunteer run organization that builds awareness of and supports a vibrant Hopkins Center for the Arts
The mission is carried out by:
Reaching out to partner and collaborate with the HCA Staff and the community
Sponsoring, planning and participating in events and projects that support building and engaging Hopkins Center for the Arts membership
Serving as ambassadors of the Hopkins Center for the Arts through personal contacts, volunteering, and social media marketing to build awareness.
