Donation Requests

Thank you for your interest in the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The Art Center builds community through the arts by fostering creative expression and providing artistic and educational opportunities for people of all ages, economics, and ethnicity, from across the state of Minnesota and beyond.

Donation Criteria

The Hopkins Center for the Arts is committed to supporting charitable activities through donations to nonprofit organizations. Because of the growing number of requests received asking for donations to silent auctions, the Center has established criteria for supporting fundraising efforts through donations. In keeping with our mission, our priority will be to support events benefiting the following:

• Arts organizations within the seven county metropolitan area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties) 
• Educational organizations within the seven county metropolitan area
• Hopkins organizations, businesses and individuals

Receiving Donations

Although we would like to reply favorably to every request that we receive, it is simply impossible to do so. If we are able to support your efforts, a single pair of concert tickets for the current concert season (October to May) will be provided.

Every organization’s efforts are important and to ensure that we can support as many as possible, please send your request at least six weeks prior to your event. If approved, certificates for donated concert tickets will be mailed within one week of your event date.
