On Sunday, June 4, the Hopkins Westwind Concert Band will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a gala FREE concert at 3 p.m. at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.  Band members have chosen favorite tunes played over the past forty years.  The program will honor Conductor Emeritus Don Bates, who led the band for its first 30 years, and current Conductor Mike Anderson, who is in his 10th year with the band.  The Hopkins Westwind Concert Band has always had strong ties to the City of Hopkins, and the band is proud to continue that close association.  No tickets are needed.  Free parking is available in the ramp at 11th Ave. S.  For further information, go to https://www.hopkinswestwind.org/
