Hopkins Center for the Arts is Reopening!
The Hopkins Center for the Arts and the City of Hopkins are committed to providing a safe and healthy facility for all our employees and customers. To ensure that, we have developed a Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Managers, employees and tenants are all responsible for implementing this plan. Our goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
Hours of Operation
Effective May 21, 2020, The Hopkins Center for the Arts will be open to visitors on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am – 6 pm, following the guidelines put in place by Governor Walz.
Groups will be limited to the following number in each of the Center’s spaces:
- 10 or less: Lobby, Community room, Jaycees Studio, and Classroom
- 6 people or less: Redepenning Gallery and Dance Studio
- 4 people or less: Conference Room
- Staff are encouraged to work from home in order to maintain a safe work environment
- 1 person or family group on the elevator
Visitors are encouraged to make a reservation to visit the building by completing the online reservation form (link found below) or by calling 952-292-3352 on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays between 10 am - 6 pm. All visitor requests are subject to approval. Please allow up to 48 hours for review of your request to be processed.

‘Walk-ups’ will be admitted if space allows. All visitors will use the main entrance of the building. Stanchions will direct you to the information desk at which point you will be asked to check-in and review the health screening questionnaire. Contact information will be collected at that time and a daily ledger will be retained in order to contact people if deemed necessary.
